The weather is slowly becoming more tolerable and we are seeing a few more birds. There are a couple of osprey circling around and checking out the nest in the neighbor's backyard. An eagle circling overhead had the osprey and the hawk squawking out their warnings!
The hawk below has been very vocal the last few days. He sits in a tree across the street, scouting for food. He definitely does not like for me to take his picture, although I managed to get a couple today.
After turning to face me, he gave a warning and then flew to a higher perch, but almost missed it!
Our bike paths on Sanibel are so nice. This one runs along Periwinkle, the main street through the village. No need to ride your bike on a street that has no shoulder, when you can ride on this beautiful path!
