Sanibel Island in Southwest Florida had been our vacation destination for several years. In 2012, we finally decided to sell our home in New Mexico and move to paradise. It was hard to leave our grown children and grandchildren in New Mexico. On the other hand, we have given them a wonderful place to take a vacation - Sanibel Island, Florida!
I've created this blog to share my photos of wildlife, flowers, sunsets, shells and beach views. The small island of Sanibel has thousands of acres of wildlife refuge which provide an exceptional opportunity to get amazing photographs.
The Wildlife Cam page shows pics from a wildlife cam that is fastened to a tree at the back of our property. The body of water is a neighborhood lake that has several alligator, river otters, fish, ducks, and other wildlife that attract many animals in the food chain, both day and night!
