I've watched the Ospreys chase off 3 Bald Eagles today. I was only lucky enough to catch a photo of one of them, and it was a juvenile Bald Eagle. The other two were full grown with the white head. The Ospreys get very excited when an eagle comes anywhere near their nest, so I'm trying to remember to grab my camera and look up when I hear them! On the other hand, the Eagles don't seem to pay much attention to all the flapping and noise the Ospreys make!
After the eagle drama was over, it was time to bring home the bacon . . . er, the fish!
This butterfly decided to land on the rocks in front of me and hang out while I snapped a pic.
